SEMI-CLOSED REBREATHER (SCR) COURSES

Semi-closed rebreather training

Dolphin/Ray SCR Diver
£440 4 Days

This course trains the participant in the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for safe and responsible diving with the Dräger "Dolphin/Ray" Semi Closed Rebreather within no-stop times and recreational depth limits.

After successful completion the participant may purchase or rent a Dräger "Dolphin/Ray"
All theoretical and practical aspects of diving with the Dräger "Dolphin/Ray" as described in the IART manual.

Course duration, after preparatory home-study of the manual, is generally 4 days. In addition to theory development, practical training in pool/confined water and in open water with not less than 6 hours accumulated dive time.

Azimuth rebreather training

Azimuth SCR Diver
£440 4 Days

This course trains the participant in the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for safe and responsible diving with the "Azimuth" Semi Closed Rebreather within no-stop times and recreational depth limits. After successful completion the participant may purchase or rent the "Azimuth"

All theoretical and practical aspects of diving with the "Azimuth" as described in the IART manual.

Course duration, after preparatory home-study of the manual, is generally 4 days. In addition to theory development, practical training in pool/confined water and in open water with not less than 6 hours accumulated dive time.

CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER (CCR) COURSES

Inspiration Rebreather Courses

Inspiration/ Evolution CCR Diver Mod.1
£599 5 Days

This course trains the participant in the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for safe and responsible diving with the APD "Inspiration" closed circuit Rebreather within no-stop times and recreational depth limits. After successful completion the participant may purchase or rent an APD "Inspiration".
All theoretical and practical aspects of diving with the APD "Inspiration" CCR as described in the IART manual. Course duration, after preparatory home-study of the manual, is generally 5 days. In addition to theory development, practical training in pool/confined water and in open water with not less than 8 hours accumulated dive time.

Inspiration/ Evolution CCR Diver Mod.2
£599 5 Days

This course is designed to provide experience and training for air-diluent diving with the CCR Buddy Inspiration to a maximum depth of 50 msw. The CCR II "Extended Range" Diver course gives the opportunity to safely learn the techniques and theory for CCR Buddy Inspiration decompression dives, with Nitrox as the bottom gas.
All theoretical and practical aspects of deep (air diluent) und decompression diving with the APD "Inspiration". The classroom sessions explain the physical and physiological hazards of deep diving, the decompression planning, equipment considerations for deep diving, the need of bail-out gas, and all procedures involved. An important point is the Calculation of dive plan using Computer-based dive tables such as Z -Plan, Proplanner, etc. The practical part of the course includes 4 dives over at least 3 days, with a minimum accumulated bottom time of 180 minutes. The instructor-to-student ratio is 1:2.

Inspiration/ Evolution CCR Diver Mod.3
£699 5 Days

This course is designed to provide experience and training for mixed gas diving with the APD "Inspiration" CCR to a maximum depth of 90 msw. The CCR III Diver course gives the opportunity to safely learn the techniques and theory for decompression dives with helium based mixes as a diluent.
All the theoretical and practical aspects of Trimix or Heliox diving with the CCR Buddy Inspiration. The classroom sessions should explain the physical and physiological hazards of mixed gas diving, the decompression planning, some equipment considerations for mixed gas diving, like diluent and bail-out selection, and all the procedures involved. An important point is the calculation of dive plan using Computer-based dive tables such as Z-Plan, ProPlanner, etc. The practical part of the course includes 4 dives over at least 4 days, with a minimum accumulated in-water time of 240 minutes. The instructor-to-student ratio is 1:2
